One shoulder tops or dresses are still used for Designer's collections.
Asymmetry is the one of trends what is showing on runways in Spring.
each designers express their asymmetry theme with various techniques and ideas.
Lanvin creates asymmetrical draped top with volume skirt, and Josh Goot creates asymmetry dress with air-brushed prints so it makes me feel diagonal natural flows on the dress.
Marc Jacobs and Giorgio Armani create one shoulder dresses with drapes or embroideries.
Dries Van Noten uses a contrasting colors and different designes for each shoulders, so it helps to look more interesting.

B is for Bias-cut

Drapes are one of major factors to create 2009 spring collection.
Many designers create their collection with drapes shown by vanishing points.
most of designers have one side vanishing points for draped dress and it creates more interesting looks. Donna Karen has also centered vanishing point with drapes on her collection, but she puts a belt to be looked interesting.

E is for Embroideries

In 2009 Spring collection, embroideries are created with various flowers.
the most of embroideries were used with different sized beads for various flowers on dresses, and metallic glittered threads are also used for embroidered dresses.
Lanvin's embroidered volume skirts has a small and various colors, Giorgio Armani's embroideries were spread beads all over the dresses, Gold threads draw beautiful flowers on the dress and create flower pattern on bottom part of the dress, and Fianlly Chanel has great glittered beads and big white flowers for embroideries on their dresses.

in this season, there are a lot of flowers with various way to express the spring feeling.
many of designers like to create different kinds of flowers all over their dresses. mostly color schems for floral prints in this season are orange, green, blue and purple, and there are also some of pastel colors. Oscar de La Renta has small sized flowers with bright colors to create energetic color-blocked silhouette, and Chanel shows graceful big blurred flower prints on their dresses.

the high ponytail hair creates chic fashion with some designers collections such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, PPQ, D&G, Vivienne Westwood and Catherine Malendrino.

I is for introducer




2009 Spring by Dolce and Gabbana

Dolce and Gabbana collection is called the collection "Pigiama Barocco." this designer's collection is inspired by sleepwear and underwear. Pajamas and Corset are the best idea to make new trend for coming seasons. Dolce and Gabbana's collection shows different version of pajamas and corset. these pajamas and corset in the collection are created with various colors, interesting organic patterns, transparent fabrics and flower embroideries. everything in Dolce and Gabbana collection is really interesting story to me.

J is for Jeans

Jeans are useful item for dailywear. some designers put jeans on their runway in 2009 Spring.
skinny jeans are still shown on runways and i can also find boyish loose fit jeans. most of jeans are destroyed and light washed jeans for spring collections. patch-working is used for jeans in this spring. house of holland are showing an interesting circle cuts as a pattern.
