many of designers like to create different kinds of flowers all over their dresses. mostly color schems for floral prints in this season are orange, green, blue and purple, and there are also some of pastel colors. Oscar de La Renta has small sized flowers with bright colors to create energetic color-blocked silhouette, and Chanel shows graceful big blurred flower prints on their dresses.

L is for London Fashion Week

2009 Spring by Paul Smith

Paul Smith collection is one of my favorite collection in London Spring 2009 Fashion week.
Spring 2009 was inspired by an exhibition of British Orientalist art, and caftan-inspired long cotton dresses and trousers with the volume of harem pants was shown on Paul Smith's runway.
Tailored pieces included a little tap-shorts suit and a cotton drill jacket with a pair of those voluminous pants. on Paul Smith's Runway, there are a lot of interesting silhouette such as a volume of harem pants or long and lean dresses. Paul Smith creates his collection with floral and geometric patterns. my favorite or the most interesting thing in Paul Smith collection is knotting around waist with orange, blue or purple geometric patterned scarves. and Caftan or neck part decorations are also interesting to me.
